My grandmother first taught me to knit when I was a little girl, igniting a lifelong passion for the art of the stitch, the simplest unit of fabric.  Together, we created beautiful knitted fabrics, rich in color and texture, all infused with her love.

When I launched my jewelry brand in 1991, I knew I wanted to incorporate crocheted metal into my designs, echoing the warmth and creativity she offered me so lovingly.

Each design I make is a fusion of texture and material, symbolizing the moment my artistic journey began.  As I continue as an artist, I blend textures and materials with a new priority of ethical mining and sustainable practices.
